How To Reach Perak Tong Cave Temple

By Air

If you are traveling from afar, the nearest airport is the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport in Ipoh. Upon arrival, you can hire a taxi or a car to travel directly to Perak Tong Cave Temple, which is approximately a 20-minute drive from the airport.

By Road

Coming from Kuala Lumpur or other major cities, you can either rent a car or take a bus to Ipoh. The journey by road takes around 2-3 hours from Kuala Lumpur. Once you arrive in Ipoh:

• By Taxi: A taxi can be taken from any point in the city directly to Perak Tong Cave Temple. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
• By Car: If you are driving, navigate towards Jalan Kuala Kangsar, and follow the signs leading to the temple. There is a parking area available at the site.
• Public Bus: Public buses are available but may not drop you directly at the temple. You will likely need to take a short walk or a local taxi from the bus stop to reach Perak Tong.

By Train

KTM Intercity and Electric Train Service (ETS) operate regular services to Ipoh. From the Ipoh railway station, it is best to take a taxi to Perak Tong as there is no direct public transportation available to the cave temple.
