By Air: The nearest airport to Qadisha Grotto is the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut. Upon landing, you can opt for various modes of transportation to reach the grotto.

By Road: Renting a car or hiring a taxi is the most convenient way to travel from Beirut to the Qadisha Grotto.

  • Driving Directions: Take the highway north toward Tripoli and then follow the signs to Chekka. From there, continue toward Bsharri. The Qadisha Grotto is located on the way to the Cedars of God, about a 2-hour drive from Beirut.
  • Public Transportation: Buses from Beirut's Charles Helou bus station to Tripoli are available. From Tripoli, you may then take a taxi or a local minibus to Bsharri and the grotto.

Visiting Cedars of God

Location Access: The Cedars of God is just a few kilometers away from the Qadisha Grotto.

  • By Car: If you're driving from the Qadisha Grotto, head towards the town of Bsharri. The Cedars of God are located around 6 km from Bsharri. Signage will guide you to the forest reserve.
  • Guided Tours: You can also join a guided tour from Beirut or from other Lebanese cities, which typically include both the Cedars of God and other attractions.

Note: The roads to Bsharri and the Cedars can be winding and steep, so take caution if driving. During winter, the area can be affected by snow, and chains or four-wheel drive vehicles may be required.
