Best Time to Visit Ram Mandir, Janakpur

Janakpur, located in the Dhanusa district of Nepal, is a city of great religious significance and home to the historic Ram Mandir, dedicated to Lord Rama. The ideal time to visit Ram Mandir would be from October to March when the weather is relatively cool and pleasant. During these months, the climate is comfortable for exploring and participating in outdoor activities, as the temperature ranges between 10°C and 25°C. This period avoids the scorching heat of the summer months and the heavy monsoon rains, ensuring a more comfortable visit to this sacred temple.

Moreover, visiting during these months offers the opportunity to experience vibrant festivals such as Vivaha Panchami and the Ram Navami festivities. Vivaha Panchami, usually celebrated in late November or early December, marks the wedding anniversary of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, with a grand celebration in Janakpur. Similarly, Ram Navami, observed in March or April, celebrates the birth of Lord Rama with much pomp and enthusiasm. Both of these events attract a large number of devotees, providing visitors with a unique cultural experience alongside their temple visit.
