Getting to Rizal Park

Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is one of the major historical urban parks in Manila, Philippines. It's accessible through various means of transportation.

By Public Transport

• Light Rail Transit (LRT): You can take the LRT Line 1 and alight at the United Nations Avenue Station. From there, Rizal Park is just a short walk away.
• Philippine National Railways (PNR): If you're coming from the southern part of Manila or nearby provinces, take the PNR train and get off at Paco or San Andres Station, and from there you can take a taxi or a jeepney to Rizal Park.
• Jeepneys: Jeepneys are a common mode of transportation in Manila. Multiple routes pass by or near Rizal Park. Look for jeepneys that mention 'Luneta' or 'Kalaw' as part of their route.
• Buses: There are several buses that pass along Roxas Boulevard or Taft Avenue which have stops near Rizal Park.

By Car or Taxi

You can also easily reach Rizal Park by car or taxi. If using a ride-hailing service, just set your destination to 'Rizal Park, Manila'. There are several parking areas around the park, including a dedicated car park along Maria Orosa Street.

By Air or Sea

For international or domestic tourists coming from the airport or the seaport:

• Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA): Rizal Park is about 10 to 12 kilometers from the airport depending on the terminal. You can take a taxi, book a ride-hailing service, or use the airport shuttle to get to the park.
• Port of Manila: The port is relatively close to Rizal Park. You can take a taxi for a quick ride to the park.

Important Tips:

• Manila traffic can be congested, especially during rush hour. Always allot extra travel time.
• Be mindful of your belongings in public transportation, and be aware of the current public transportation fares to avoid being overcharged.
