Best Time To Visit Sadni Falls (Netarhat) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Sadni Falls, Netarhat

The ideal time to visit Sadni Falls in Netarhat, Jharkhand, is during the post-monsoon months from October to March. During this period, the weather is pleasantly cool and comfortable for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The monsoon season that lasts from July to September replenishes the waterfalls, making them gloriously full and vibrant, hence arriving right after the monsoons ensures you get to see the falls in their full splendor. The temperature during the post-monsoon months usually ranges between 10°C to 20°C, which is perfect for tourists to enjoy not just the waterfalls but also the surrounding beautiful landscapes and lush greenery of Netarhat.

Moreover, special occasions such as the Netarhat Mahotsav, usually held in November, bring added cultural flair and celebration, making it an exciting time for tourists to experience local traditions and festivities. However, it’s advisable to avoid the summer months, from April to June, when the temperature can be quite high and the water levels of the falls may be considerably lower. In the winter months, especially December and January, the falls are supplemented by a serene and misty atmosphere of Netarhat, which also attracts many visitors looking to enjoy the chilled weather and scenic beauty.
