Bago is connected to Yangon by train. The travel time can be around 2 hours from the Yangon Central Railway station to the Bago Railway station. Once you arrive at Bago Railway Station, you can hire a local taxi or tuk-tuk to reach the Shwemawdaw Pagoda.
