Best Time To Visit Srimangal Tea Gardens (Sylhet) In 2026 - 2027

Visit Srimangal Tea Gardens in Sylhet, Bangladesh

The best time to visit the lush, rolling Srimangal Tea Gardens in Sylhet is during the peak of the dry season, which runs from November to March. During this period, the weather is typically clement with clear blue skies, moderate temperatures that remain consistently around 10-25°C (50-77°F), and lower humidity levels compared to other times of the Revyear. The comfortable climate facilitates outdoor activities, such as walking through the tea estates, cycling, and wildlife spotting without the inconvenience of heavy rainfall or extreme heat.

Visitors seeking an immersive tea experience will find March particularly fascinating as it marks the beginning of the tea harvesting season. This period offers the unique opportunity to see the local tea pickers adorning the fields with their colorful attire, meticulously plucking the fresh tea leaves. Additionally, the local cultural festivals around this time present a great chance to dive into the vibrant Bangladeshi traditions. However, it is advisable to book accommodations in advance as this time also attracts the highest number of tourists and can lead to increased prices and limited availability.
