By Air

If you're arriving by air, you'll likely land at Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). From the airport, you can take a waterbus (vaporetto) provided by Alilaguna, or a private water taxi to reach Venice. The closest waterbus stop to St Mark's Basilica is San Zaccaria.

By Train

If you are traveling by train, your end station will be Venezia Santa Lucia. From there, you can take the Vaporetto (lines 1 or 2) that go along the Grand Canal and you should get off at the San Marco Vallaresso stop or San Zaccaria.

By Car

Venice is not accessible by car directly. You can drive to the mainland part of Venice, Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, park your car, and take a vaporetto (waterbus) or a private water taxi to St Mark's Basilica.
