By Air

No direct flights are available to Tatai River itself. The closest airport is the Sihanoukville International Airport (KOS). From the airport, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a private transfer to Koh Kong, which will take about 4 hours.

By Road

From Phnom Penh: You can take a bus or a private taxi. The journey by bus can take around 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Buses offer an economical way to travel, with several companies operating on this route.

From Sihanoukville: Private taxis or mini-buses are available to take you to Koh Kong. The journey may take approximately 4 hours.

By Boat

If you are coming from Thailand, you can cross the border at the Had Lek/Cham Yeam checkpoint and take a boat from Koh Kong Town to Tatai River. The boat ride provides a magnificent view of the river and the surrounding forest.

Local Transfers

Once in Koh Kong, local tuk-tuks, motorbike taxis, and private car services can transport you to the Tatai River. The river is approximately 20 kilometers from Koh Kong town, and the journey by road is scenic and pleasant.
