We visited this mount with my family
We did trip jakarta start and direct went to tangkuban perahu.
Our trip is 6 hours from jakarta included lunch on the way..
The view and weather was good, probably a one time visit for newbies.
Rp300, 000 entrance fee for foreigners is rather excessive.

Tangkuban Parahu
A beautiful mountain with stunning view. The ticket is expensive for foreigners. But if you hike with other tracks you can get free ticket and remote hiking route.

Some bitter sweet experience at Tangkuban Perahu
Magnificent views but entrance fee is overpriced for foreigner . Beware of park tour guide n ornament sellers that can "do hard selling", they may present themselves as friends of your hired drive..
