Thien Cung Cave, also known as Heavenly Palace Cave, is a remarkable natural wonder located in the famous Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is renowned for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Thien Cung Cave is situated at the north of Dau Go Island, about 4 kilometers from the wharf outside of Ha Long City. It is considered one of the most beautiful primitive caves of the bay and is a highlight of the area. Once inside, you are welcomed by a complex interior structure with high ceilings and walls fully embedded with stalactites and stalagmites that form incredible formations. Some of these resemble animals, natural figures, and even mythical characters, highlighted by clever lighting that transforms the cave into a mystical and surreal experience. The cave spans 10,000 square meters with a 130-meter-long girth. Local legend says that Thien Cung Cave was the place where the Dragon King hosted a grand wedding for his daughter, which has influenced the storytelling aspect of the cave tours.
