You can begin your journey at the Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal, which is a short walk from Tung Chung MTR Station (Exit B). By Bus:

  • Lantau Bus 23: From Tung Chung Bus Terminal, you can take bus number 23 to Ngong Ping Village, where the Big Buddha is located.
  • New Lantao Bus 2: Another option is to catch bus number 2 from Mui Wo Ferry Pier to Ngong Ping Village.

By Car or Taxi:

By Ferry and Bus:

Travellers coming from Central Hong Kong can take a ferry to Mui Wo from the Central Ferry Pier No. 6 and then board New Lantao Bus 2 to reach Ngong Ping Village.
