Tumuli Park, also known as Daereungwon Tomb Complex, is situated in Gyeongju, South Korea. It is a significant historical area with a collection of royal tombs from the Silla Dynasty, which ruled the Korean peninsula from 57 BC to 935 AD. The park features more than 20 large and small tombs, comprising earthen mounds of varying sizes. The most famous of these is the Cheonmachong Tomb, which was excavated in 1973 and revealed a wealth of artifacts, including a stunning gold crown and belt, alongside the remains of a horse and a king. Visitors can actually enter the Cheonmachong Tomb, providing a unique glimpse into ancient Silla burial practices.
