Located along the serene east coast of the United Arab Emirates, Umbrella Beach is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Here is how you can reach this picturesque location:
From Dubai: Take the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) heading towards Sharjah. Continue on the E311 until you reach the exit for Maliha Road (E102). Follow Maliha Road leading into Fujairah. Eventually, you will merge onto Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road (E84), which will take you straight into Fujairah city. Follow the signs leading to the coast and Umbrella Beach.
Travel Time: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
From Dubai, you can catch a bus from various locations such as the Dubai Union Square to Fujairah. Once in Fujairah, local taxi services can take you to Umbrella Beach.
Operated by: The Fujairah Public Transport Corporation
Taxis are available from all parts of the UAE. They offer a comfortable and direct route to the beach. Keep in mind that taxis are metered, and long distances could be costly.
Fujairah has its own International Airport, but it mainly serves charter flights. The nearest major airport is in Dubai. After landing, you can opt for car rentals, taxis, or buses to reach Umbaira Beach.
Note: If you are an international traveller, do not forget to check visa requirements before heading to the UAE. It’s also essential to respect local customs and dress codes, particularly in the more conservative emirate of Fujairah.
