The closest airport to the Uppatasanti Pagoda is the Nay Pyi Taw International Airport. Upon landing, you can opt for a taxi or rent a car to reach the pagoda, approximately a 30-minute drive from the airport.
Various bus services operate to Naypyidaw from major cities such as Yangon and Mandalay. Once you arrive at the Naypyidaw bus station, you can take a taxi to the Uppatasanti Pagoda.
If you're driving from Yangon, take the Yangon-Naypyidaw-Mandalay expressway, which will take around 4-6 hours depending on traffic. From Mandalay, it's a roughly 3-hour drive on the same expressway.
