Wadi Darbat is a natural park in the Dhofar region of Oman, close to the city of Salalah. The area is renowned for its natural beauty, with lush green hills during the Khareef season, waterfalls, and serene lakes. The food history in this region is deeply rooted in Omani culture and reflects a blend of influences from the Arabian Peninsula, East Africa, and Indian maritime trade routes.

The traditional food in the Wadi Darbat area is characterized by the use of fresh ingredients including local vegetables, fruits, grains, and meats such as chicken, fish, and lamb.
