5 Nights 6 Days Darjeeling Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival From katra
Arrival From katra and full day to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi (Darshan of your own). This temple is situated on the top of the Trikuta hill about 12 km away from Katra. To visit this temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. Popular belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely goes back disappointed. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel at Katra.
Day 2: katra to pahalgham
After Breakfast Drive to pahalgham Valley of Shepherds. In Pahalgam enjoy the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings.
Day 3: In pahalgham
One can also enjoy a pony ride to Baisran or can hire a local taxi to visit Aru, Chandanwadi (on a direct hire basis) or if you are an avid nature lover you may take pleasure in a peaceful walk along the River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage
Day 4: pahalgham to srinagar
On the way to Srinagar Stop at Pampore (Saffron Fields). Next stop will be Awantipora ruins nestled between Srinagar and Pahalgam, located on the banks of the river Jhelum, is a small yet historically important town of Awantipura. This town is home to the famous Awantipura ruins, representing the once grand Awantipura temple. In the evening Drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel
Day 5: Srinagar To Gulmarg
After breakfast drive for day excursion to Gulmarg Meadow of Flowers 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 54 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis). Day 6: Srinagar – Onward Destination
After breakfast enjoy the morning in Srinagar and get ready for transfer to the Srinagar airport to board your scheduled flight for onward destination.
