Tiger Hill is a famous destination in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India, renowned for its spectacular sunrise views over the Eastern Himalayan mountains, including the majestic Khangchendzonga, the world's third-highest peak. At around 2,590 meters above sea level, the summit of Tiger Hill offers panoramic vistas that also encompass Mount Everest on clear days. The hill derives its name from the belief that it was once a haunt for Bengal tigers. Tiger Hill is located approximately 11 kilometers from the town of Darjeeling and can be reached by jeep or by foot through a steep and winding path amidst dense forests. Aside from the mesmerizing sunrise, the location also serves as a fantastic spot for photography and hiking.
