Best Time To Visit Aktau Lighthouse (Aktau) In 2026 - 2027

Visiting Ak Zhaiyk Lighthouse in Aktau, Kazakhstan

The Ak Zhaiyk Lighthouse, situated in the city of Aktau on the shores of the Caspian Sea, represents a beacon for ships and an enchanting point of interest for tourists. The best time to visit this historical structure is during the late spring through early autumn months, typically from May to September. This period offers the most pleasant climate for outdoor activities, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). Tourists can enjoy long daylight hours and minimal rainfall, allowing for uninterrupted exploration of the lighthouse and surrounding attractions.

Particularly, the months of July and August witness the peak of tourist activity in Aktau, as these are the warmest months with temperatures that can climb higher but still stay within comfortable limits. It's also an opportune time for visitors interested in seaside leisure, as the waters of the Caspian Sea are warm enough for swimming and water sports. Nevertheless, visitors preferring a quieter experience should consider the shoulder months of May or September when there are fewer tourists, and accommodation rates tend to be more competitive while the weather is still favorable for sightseeing.
