Mismanagement, misbehaviour of PANDAS of Baba Baidyanath temple
We, the group of 6 persons visited the Sacred temple of Baba Baidyanath on on 16th June 2024 at 6.45 am, had very bad experience of panda's behaviour. While performing pooja,4 or more panda's surrounding the pious Jyotirlinga, asking us for money like snatching our offerings & in temple some panda's pushed us other side to give pass to their devotees. Devotees come here from far and wide with great faith to have Darshan of Sacred jyotirlinga of Baba Baidyanath ji. I wonder no management is there to control the crowd especially PANDAS misbehaviour with devotees from whom they earn their livelihood by showing their muscle power, whether they are OLD or young one... It seems that they are the sole authority of the temple. Rest the people of Devgarh are religious and nice, we stayed comfortably for two days at Shrinath palace where food was delicious, hygienic.

Shiv & Shakti together,this is the only Jyotirlinga where Shaktipeeth is in same premises.
Baba Baijyanath is Jyotirling and have a Shaktipeeth in same premises . Only holy place to have both together. There are 22 small temples in premises of various god and goddess. As usual lot of rush but requires an organized system for darshan. Though people are cleaning the place regularly but still not maintained. Morning hours you get ?250 VIP pass but still require 2-4 hrs . In evening a long queue, one can see sringar by standing outside on LED then go inside for Darshan. Aarti is outside the temple .

Mis management of Deoghar Baidyanath mandir
Control panda begger who have maligned the image of the sacred mandir.Even VIP entry point is captured by them and they collect pass from devotees and push 2 people inside in 1 pass.I am a victim so I am sharing this.

A must visit Jyotirling.
Baba Baidyanath Dham is a highly revered Jyotirlinga and definitely a must visit pilgrimage destination. The main temple is full of positive energy , radiates serene calm and satisfaction. Temple is open from early morning and closes after Sandhya Arathi in the night. There is a constant menace from Pandas and photographers to avail their services. A reliable panda can be extremely helpful especially if a devotee wants to conduct any special poojas.Else there is a special darshan for Rs.250/- which can be availed if there is a crowd with a darshan and also offering / touching the Jyotirlinga.The inner temple witnesses pushing and shoving by devotees.Pandas ensure the poojas are conducted smoothly inside the temple and offerings made to the main Jyotirlinga.Devotees can sit around the Jyotirlinga and pooja offerings can be made directly to the God,if one engages a Panda. Generally offerings to Pandas are voluntary but advised to finalise the price prior to the rituals. Panda Ramji (+91 84097 40317) is good and conducts all the rituals satisfactorily. Rudrabhishek and Jalabhishek are generally performed here to Baba Baidyanath. Please beware of the slippery water all along inside the main temple complex due to the offerings and poojas.The Sandhya arati is definitely not to be missed .It is grandly conducted in the premises. There are temples surrounding the main Baba Baidyanath temple , which may be visited.There is a ritual of tying a sacred thread from Baba Baidyanath to Ma Durga Temple.The thread costs ?550/- and ? 100/- is charged for tying the same. There are plenty of shops selling the famous pedas.Kesar peda is worth a try. Motorcycle rickshaws are economical and quick transport mode around. Restaurants outside the temple offer economically priced good food options. Incase of a cab, Ramesh (+91 9102091540) is extremely economical and reliable ,even for airport pick up and drop. A trip to Basukinath is definitely recommended.

Baidynath Dham
Visit to Baba Baidynath Dham. Its a lifetime experience. There are several Guest house nearby. One is Hotel Sharda Inn. Food here is excelent and it is just on walking distance from Baba Baidynath Mandir. Dont forget to bring Peda from shops nearby the temple. There are various attractions nearby. Vasukinath Temple, Trikut Parvat, Nandan Pahar etc.
