The Barehipani and Joranda Waterfalls are located in the Similipal National Park in Baripada, Mayurbhanj district, Odisha, India. Barehipani is Odisha's highest waterfall, cascading from a height of 399 meters in two tiers, creating a stunning visual appeal set amidst the dense biosphere reserve's forests. A little further is the elegant Joranda Waterfall, with water dropping from a height of 150 meters. Both the waterfalls are surrounded by lush greenery, housing diverse wildlife including tigers, elephants, and a plethora of other species. The area is a part of the Similipal Tiger Reserve, enveloped by the Meghasani and Khairiburu mountains. This natural spectacle is not just a haven for nature lovers, but it also provides a serene escape from the humdrum of city life. Visitors to these waterfalls are greeted with the melodious sounds of the gushing streams and the rich biodiversity that thrives in the park.
