Best Time To Visit Coral Garden Diving Site (Aqaba) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Coral Garden Diving Site, Aqaba, Jordan

The ideal time to visit the Coral Garden Diving Site in Aqaba for an optimal experience is during the spring months from March to May and the autumn period between September to November. During these periods, divers can enjoy comfortable temperatures both above and below the water, avoiding the peak summer heat which can exceed 40°C. Underwater, the spring and autumn temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C, which is perfect for extended dive sessions. Not only are these seasons best for pleasant weather, but they also provide clearer water conditions and increased opportunities for wildlife encounters as certain marine life species migrate through the Red Sea during these times.

Avoiding the high summer and winter seasons has its advantages for divers. The summer months, from June to August, can be extremely hot, and while the underwater environment may still be acceptable, the surface intervals and time spent on the boat can be less comfortable. Wintertime, from December to February, brings cooler water, which might require a thicker wetsuit to stay warm. Additionally, the spring and autumn coincide with the off-peak tourist season, meaning you may enjoy a more serene dive experience with fewer boats and divers at the Coral Garden, giving you a better chance to appreciate the stunning marine life and corals of Aqaba without the crowds.
