How To Reach Eluanbi Lighthouse

Traveling to Eluanbi Lighthouse, Pingtung, Taiwan

Welcome to the guide on how to reach the Eluanbi Lighthouse, a historic and picturesque destination on the southernmost tip of Taiwan.

Arriving by Public Transportation

  • Take the High-Speed Rail (HSR) to Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung.
  • From Zuoying Station, transfer to the Kaohsiung Metro (MRT) and get off at Kaohsiung Main Station.
  • Outside Kaohsiung Main Station, find the Kenting Express Bus service to Hengchun. Buses depart regularly throughout the day.
  • Once in Hengchun, transfer to another bus heading to Eluanbi Park.
  • Disembark at Eluanbi Park and follow the signs directing towards the Eluanbi Lighthouse.

Self-Drive or Car Rental

  • Pick up a rental car from Kaohsiung International Airport or any downtown location.
  • Drive on the Provincial Highway No. 1 and then switch to Provincial Highway No. 26 towards Kenting.
  • Follow the signs leading to the Eluanbi Park, where parking is available.

  • Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary depending on the season.
  • For the most flexibility and ease of visiting multiple attractions, consider renting a car or a scooter.
