By Car:

From Inverness: The falls are about 20 miles south of Inverness. You can take the B862 road which will go through Dores and along the south side of Loch Ness and then continue onto the B852. Follow the signage for Foyers and you will find a car park near the falls.

By Bus:

From Inverness: There are limited bus services to Foyers from Inverness. Check the current timetable for bus number 301, operated by D&E Coaches. The journey can take around 1 hour and 20 minutes, and you will need to get off near the Foyers turnoff and walk to the falls.

On Foot:

For the keen walkers and hikers, there are several trails around Loch Ness that pass by the Falls of Foyers. The South Loch Ness Trail offers a route that encompasses the beautiful scenery and nature of the area. Make sure to have a map and the proper walking equipment.

Tips:

  • Check bus timetables in advance as services are not frequent.
  • Wear appropriate footwear as the paths around the falls can be steep and uneven.
  • The viewpoint for the falls can be accessed via a well-made path, but it's still a bit of a steep walk.
