Visiting the historic Gelersen-Görersen Fortress in Sheki, Azerbaijan, is a rewarding experience, with its majestic setting offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The best time to plan your trip is during the late spring and early summer months, specifically between May and June. During this period, the weather is pleasantly warm with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F), which is ideal for exploring the fortress ruins without the discomfort of the summer heat. The early autumn, particularly September, is another excellent time for a visit. The temperature cools down, making the journey to the fortress and its exploration a comfortable experience.
