By Air

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is the main gateway for air travelers. It serves many international and domestic flights daily. The airport is located about 18 km southwest of the city center. Once you arrive, you can take the Izban suburban train, shuttle buses, or a taxi to the city center. By Road

Izmir is connected by modern highways to major cities in Turkey. Intercity buses run to Izmir from nearly all parts of Turkey. The main bus terminal is Izmir Otogarı or Izmir Bus Terminal. It is located on the outskirts of the city. Transportation to the city center is readily available from the terminal via bus or taxi.
