How to Reach Kadisha Valley Hiking Trails, Cedars of God

The Kadisha Valley, also known as the Qadisha Valley, is a gorge that lies within the Bsharri and Zgharta Districts in North Lebanon. The Cedars of God, a historic cedar grove and a UNESCO World Heritage site, is situated in close proximity to Bsharri. The following are the primary ways to reach these destinations:

By Air

Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) is the closest major international airport. After arriving at the airport, you can continue your journey to Bsharri by road.

By Road

Rental Car: Renting a car is one of the most flexible options. It's approximately a 2-hour drive from Beirut. Follow the coastal highway northbound, turning east at Batroun towards Bsharri.

Public Transportation: Buses from Beirut's Charles Helou bus station to Tripoli are available, and from there, you can find minibusses or taxis that will take you to Bsharri.

Taxi: Hiring a private taxi for a direct trip from Beirut to Bsharri can be more comfortable and faster but is typically more expensive.
