It was worth driving up to this lookout point, because it offered an amazing view of the whole city. We also saw the nice lake and the big white sitting Buddha opposite us. It’s a must-see site.

This is one of your MUST Do's when in Kandy the views are Well super cool but a trip around the Lake is also a must. You will see Bats and Kingfishers, Big Lizards and loads of turtles.... just wander..
We stopped here during our tuktuk tour, one at the start of the tour while the other one was after watching the Kadayan Dance Show. It was cooler in the evening and the views of the lighted buildings/..
Worth the drive up to this view point to see the city from a different angle.
Of course there are many tat stalls touting for business and many bus loads of tourists with selfies being taken amass!
