Renting a Car: Visitors can rent a car from the airport or Amman city center. The drive takes approximately 2 hours via the Desert Highway (Route 15), followed by signs towards Karak.
Taxi: Taxis are widely available and can be hired for a direct trip from Amman to Karak. Ensure to agree on the fare before starting the journey.
Public Bus: Buses to Karak are available from the Mujaharin bus station in Amman and take around 3 hours. Minibuses may also be available but tend to leave when full.
Several travel agencies in Amman offer day trips or overnight stays in Karak, which include transportation and guided tours of the old city and the famous Karak Castle.
