By Air

Karak does not have its own airport. The nearest major airport is Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) located in Amman. From the airport, travelers can either rent a car or take a taxi or a bus to reach Karak Old City.

By Road

Renting a Car: Visitors can rent a car from the airport or Amman city center. The drive takes approximately 2 hours via the Desert Highway (Route 15), followed by signs towards Karak.

Taxi: Taxis are widely available and can be hired for a direct trip from Amman to Karak. Ensure to agree on the fare before starting the journey.

Public Bus: Buses to Karak are available from the Mujaharin bus station in Amman and take around 3 hours. Minibuses may also be available but tend to leave when full.
