Kirateshwar Mahadev Temple, also known as Kirateshwar Mahadev Mandir, is a sacred Hindu shrine located in Legship, near Yuksom on the banks of the River Rangeet in West Sikkim, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is revered for its religious significance and historical importance. According to local folklore, the temple marks the site where the Pandava prince Arjuna worshipped Lord Shiva during their exile, and in return, Shiva appeared as a hunter to bless him with the celestial weapon 'Pashupatastra', which was later used in the Mahabharata war.
