How to Reach Lake Sevan

By Car: Lake Sevan is approximately 60 km away from the capital city, Yerevan. You can rent a car or take a taxi to reach the lake. The drive takes about 1 hour via the M4 highway, which is the most direct route.
By Bus: Regular minibuses (marshrutkas) depart from Yerevan's Central Bus Station to the town of Sevan, which is on the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. Upon arrival in Sevan town, you can take another local taxi to reach various points along the lake.
By Train: There is a train service from Yerevan to Sevan which operates on a less frequent schedule. It's a slower but scenic option that allows you to enjoy the views of the Armenian countryside.

Tourist Season: The best time to visit Lake Sevan is from June to September when the weather is pleasant and suitable for swimming and boating.
