Long Beach, locally known as Bai Truong, is one of the most popular beaches in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. There are several ways you can reach this beautiful destination:
By Air
Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC) is your gateway to Long Beach:
- Fly to Phu Quoc International Airport from various domestic cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and more.
- International flights are available from selected destinations.
- Upon arrival, you can hire a taxi, motorbike, or shuttle to reach Long Beach. The travel time is approximately 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.
By Sea
Phu Quoc is accessible by ferry from the mainland:
- Ferries run from Ha Tien and Rach Gia on the mainland to Phu Quoc.
- Once at the Phu Quoc ferry terminal, you can take a taxi or rent a motorbike to get to Long Beach. The journey might take around 40 minutes from the ferry terminal.
By Road
Once on the island, if you're coming from Duong Dong or any other areas:
- Hire a motorbike to explore at your own pace. The coastal roads provide scenic views and are well-signposted.
- For comfort, book a taxi or join a local tour group that includes a visit to Long Beach.
- If staying in a resort or hotel, inquire about complimentary transport services to and from the beach.
