How to Reach Long Son Pagoda, Nha Trang, Vietnam

Long Son Pagoda is a must-visit destination in the heart of Nha Trang, Vietnam. Located at the foothill of Trai Thuy Mountain, it is easily accessible by various means of transport. Here are your options:

By Air:

  • If you are coming from abroad or other Vietnamese cities, the nearest airport is Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR). It's about 30 km away from Nha Trang city. You can take a taxi or airport shuttle service from there to reach Long Son Pagoda.

By Train:

  • Nha Trang is a popular stop on the main railway line connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. From the Nha Trang railway station, the pagoda is only about 2 km away. Taxis and motorbike taxis are readily available to take you to Long Son Pagoda.

By Bus:

  • Local buses in Nha Trang can take you close to Long Son Pagoda. Look for bus route no. 2, which stops at the pagoda. This is the most economical way to get there.

By Motorbike or Bicycle:

  • For a more adventurous approach, renting a motorbike or bicycle will give you the freedom to explore Nha Trang at your own pace. Long Son Pagoda is just off the main road, making it easy to find.

By Car:

On Foot:

  • If you’re already in the city center and up for a walk, the pagoda is approximately a 20-minute walk from the central beach area of Nha Trang. Follow the Yersin Street, turn left to the 23/10 Street and then make a right to Thai Nguyen Street where the Long Son Pagoda is located.
