Getting to Mar Elias (Prophet Elijah's Church) in Ajloun, Jordan
Mar Elias, also known as the Church of Prophet Elijah, is an ancient church located in Ajloun, Jordan. To reach this historical site, you can follow these steps:
By Car from Amman:
- Head northwest from Amman via Route 35.
- Follow Route 35 until you reach Jerash.
- From Jerash, continue on the main road towards Ajloun.
- Before entering the town of Ajloun, take a turn towards the west following the signs to Mar Elias.
- Drive for approximately 5-10 minutes until you see the church on your left.
