Monkey Beach is one of the hidden gems of Phi Phi Islands, located on the southwestern side of Tonsai Bay, about 700m from the jetty. It is famed for its powdery white sands, emerald waters, and the monkeys that reside there, which are its primary attraction. This small cove is home to a colony of macaques who often come down to the beach to interact with visitors. The beach is secluded and provides an excellent spot for snorkeling, with a vibrant coral reef close to the shore housing an abundance of marine life. Accessible by long-tail boat, kayak or even by a short hike during low tide, Monkey Beach is perfect for adventure enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. While the monkeys are generally friendly, it is important for visitors to be cautious and avoid feeding them to prevent any aggressive behavior. The natural beauty and clear waters make Monkey Beach a must-visit destination for travelers looking to explore the unique and picturesque scenery of the Phi Phi Islands.

We went during high tide and could not get down in the beach. We took photos from our speedboat , there were a few monkeys hanging from the hills.
