Travel Options to Mount Moiwa

Mount Moiwa is a popular destination in Sapporo offering stunning views of the cityscape. Here are the main ways to reach the summit:

1. Ropeway & Mini Cable Car (Morris Car)
   The most scenic way to reach the top is via the Mount Moiwa Ropeway, which connects to the mini cable car halfway up the mountain. The Ropeway base station is accessible by:
• Free shuttle bus from the following subway stations: Maruyama Park (Maruyama Koen), which is served by the Tozai Line, and Susukino, accessible via the Namboku Line.
• Public bus: Jotetsu Bus service from the "Ropeway Iriguchi" station, which can be reached by taking a streetcar to the "Ropeway Sen" stop.
• Car: There is parking available at the base of the ropeway.
