Mud Volcanoes Tourism

Mud Volcanoes are a fascinating natural phenomenon located in Baratang Island, which is part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. These geological formations are created by natural gases emitted by decaying organic matter underground, which push mud upwards to the surface. The mud volcanoes in Baratang are not as dramatic as the lava-spewing ones but are still a rare sight to witness. The site has several small craters filled with thick mud, occasionally releasing gurgles of bubbles. This unique spectacle is set amidst the dense tropical forests of Baratang, known for its exotic flora and fauna.
