It is out of the world experience. One of the Best Beaches in the World. Unfortunate that not many people know of it.
Reaching Long Island and Lalaji Bay Beach may be difficult but if you reach there it is HEAVENLY. Maybe the Best Beach I have seen. Pristine Beauty and Amazing. One can walk to the Beach from Forest Rest House in the Long Island but as we were short of time, we took a boat. On the way you see Majestic Guitar Island and when you approach the Beach, even a distant view is amazing. Walking on the Beach is unearthly. Beautiful, unspoilt. Amazing experience we had. They have built facility for stay. We intend to stay there someday.

untouched yet accessible
Lalaji Bay is located at long island and is easily accessible by road and by boat (directly from port blair). The boat from port blair takes about 6-7 hours and the road journey is via the famous jarawa tribes. Lalaji Bay has accommodation available of forest near the jetty and also at the bay itself. the accommodation at the bay is highly recommended. do not miss a boat ride which takes you to two islands and then finally to lalaji bay, of course this is at an extra cost. it is definitely worth the ride. there are few treks around the bay which you can easily do.

Paradise Unexplored
My friend and I traveled to Lalaji bay Beach in november. The weather was perfect the view even more so. There are 2 ways to go to Lalaji bay beach, One is by trail- which I might warn has a lot of leeches. The other is by beach (accessible only during low tides) , you have to walk along the beach during low tide to reach the beach ( Warning: it is a long walk ). We chose to walk by trail on the way to the beach, as it had rained nonstop the day before- the path was mucky. The people at blue planet were very thoughtful and had given us packets of salt and lime to carry along with us. The trail was beautiful but if you are as paranoid as we were with leeches you would most probably not want to go by it. But then again it was one of the most memorable experience I've had, though it did not feel so at that time! We ran to the shore as soon as we could spot the waters! The beach in all is beautiful, I'm not exaggerating when I say it is paradise unexplored,there is only one government owned resort there,which was closed when we went as season time had not started yet!. but this place is heaven on earth, secluded, beautiful, silent ,untouched. We were at the beach of a few hours and chose to instead walk along the beach during low tide. Fun tip- the view on the way back was mesmerizing as the sun was going down and you can walk along the mangrove forest on one side and the beach on the other! All in all it was an experience of a life time. A must visit if you have the time

Good beach
The beach is remote with few people. One can get there with private boat or hike there through the jungle. In jungle supposed to be a lot of leeches, but we did not have any problems. And no snake fall on us...Beach is beautiful, white sand, small huts...There however is no hotel or restaurant, shop...but they currently build them. At the time we were there, there were good waves, and low water visibility...so no see of coral reef...for those one should go to the beach under Blue planet resort. However, this may depend on the season and time in a day (low vs high tide). In short, despite some lack of comfort, Lalaji beach IS something special and reflect all the natural beauty.
