Arriving by Public Transport

Bus:

You can take the TransJakarta Busway to reach Monas. The closest bus stops are Monas and Gambir Station. Both lie on different busway lines, so ensure you are on the correct route.

Train:

The nearest train stations to Monas are Gondangdia and Gambir. From these stations, Monas is just a short walk away. Trains are a convenient option if you are coming from other cities in Java.

Arriving by Car or Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Jakarta and a hassle-free way to reach Monas. Ride-hailing apps are also widely used and can be more convenient as they provide fixed rates to your destination.

Parking Information

If you’re arriving by private car, parking is available at the National Monument. However, the spaces can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays, so it's best to arrive early.

• Opening Hours: Monas is open every day from 8 AM to 3 PM, except for the last Monday of each month when it is closed for maintenance.
