Best Time To Visit Our Lady Of Lebanon Statue (Byblos Old Town) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Our Lady of Lebanon Statue, Byblos

Spring (March to May) is widely regarded as one of the best times to visit the Our Lady of Lebanon statue in Harissa. During spring, the weather is moderate with mild temperatures and the natural landscapes are particularly vibrant, making it ideal for both sightseeing and photography. The comfortable climate also provides the perfect opportunity to explore the nearby Byblos Old Town, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, teeming with historic ruins and charming streets. This period before the summer high season is less crowded, offering a more peaceful experience for visiting these cultural landmarks.

Fall (September to November) similarly presents an excellent time for a visit. The hot summer weather begins to cool down, and the tourist crowds diminish, allowing for a more leisurely exploration of the statue and the surrounding panoramic views. The fall season also coincides with the grape harvest, which is an integral part of Lebanese culture, and visitors may have the chance to witness or participate in grape picking and wine-making activities. Exploring Byblos Old Town during these months is pleasant as well, with fewer tourists and a comfortable Mediterranean climate complimented by the golden hues of autumn.
