Pensi La Pass Tourism

Pensi La Pass is a high mountain pass in the Zanskar range, located in the Kargil district of Ladakh in India. Perched at an elevation of approximately 4,400 meters (14,436 feet), it acts as a gateway to the Zanskar Valley from the Suru Valley. This pass remains covered in snow during the winter months, making it inaccessible. The scenic beauty around Pensi La is breathtaking, with two high altitude lakes, the Satsar or Twin Lakes, being the major attractions. It's a rugged terrain and offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers, notably the Drang-Drung Glacier, one of the largest in the region.
