Best Time To Visit Philippine Eagle Center (Davao) In 2026 - 2027

Visit Timing for Philippine Eagle Center, Davo, Philippines

The Philippine Eagle Center is primarily a conservation and breeding facility for the critically endangered Philippine eagle, also known as the monkey-eating eagle. The best time to visit the center is during the dry season which spans from December to early May. This period provides a more pleasant experience for visitors as the weather is predominantly sunny and there is a lower chance of rainfall disrupting outdoor activities. Moreover, the cooler months of December to February offer a comfortable climate, particularly for those who prefer milder temperatures.

In addition, the dry season is also preferable for wildlife sighting as the eagles and other animals in the center are more likely to be active and visible in their enclosures. While the Eagle Center is open throughout the year, planning your visit during local holidays and weekends should be done cautiously; these times can be quite busy with local tourism. To ensure a serene and intimate interaction with the sanctuary's natural wonders, consider visiting on weekdays when there are typically fewer visitors. It is worth noting the center's operating hours which are typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, giving ample time to explore the facility and learn about the conservation efforts for the Philippine eagle.
