It is a ruin and demeans the name of our most respected freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
It is a ruined island with no restaurants, bathrooms or toilets. You can skip this place from your itinerary

Clean beach for drone photography
One of the unexplored beaches and you can expect 100% plastic pollution free. Place for beautiful photography, crowd free for drone photogrpahy also. Offers swimming in two different types of sea water close by. Should witness sand submerging in high water. Since no shop nearby cater for sufficient water and light snacks.

Ross and Smith Island (Diglipur) - a mesmerizing trip
Two pristine islands connected by a stretch of sand. During very high tide they remain separate but appear as one in normal times. This is in North Andaman around 14 hour drive from Port Blair. But the beauty of the islands and the sea is worth the drive. From Port Blair you need to go to Diglipur. At Diglipur go to Arial Bay jetty, you will need to take permits for boarding the ferry to Ross and Smith islands. Remember to take permits for both the islands. It is a half-day trip and you will need to return from the island by 2:00 PM, so start from Arial Bay early.

Untouched islands connected by a Sandbar !
Ross & Smith are twin islands located in North Andaman along Aerial Bay. These are 2 independent islands connected with a sand bar. During high tide, the sandbar gets submerged to create the illusion of 2 separate islands. Low tide reveals the sand bar that connects them. The aerial bay side has lighter colored water vs the Andaman Sea side, which has stark blue water! These islands are relatively untouched. There are no restaurants at these islands so one must carry their own water/food. Smith Island has shacks to rest, along with toilets. Locals sometimes have a picnic here. Ross island requires a Rs.75 permit to visit. There are Deer that roam around the island. From aerial bay jetty, a boat costs Rs.5500 for upto 4 people ( if 1 individual goes, the cost will be the same ) Must visit place in the Diglipur area. ( Diglipur can be reached be ferry or by taxi/bus from Port Blair)
