Best Time to Visit Saint Martin's Island, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Saint Martin's Island, a tropical delight in Bangladesh, is best visited during the months of November to February. During this period, the weather is most favorable as the island experiences the winter season, characterized by a cooler climate, lower humidity, and negligible rainfall. The pleasant weather allows for uninterrupted exploration and the perfect setting for sunbathing, beach activities, and swimming in the clear blue waters. Additionally, these months avoid the monsoon season which can bring heavy rains and cyclones, potentially hindering travel plans and outdoor activities. Tourists can also partake in the full moon parties that are often organized on the beach during the winter, providing a unique nighttime beach experience.

For those interested in undersea life, the clear waters in these winter months are optimal for snorkeling and scuba diving, providing an excellent view of the coral reef and marine life around the island. Moreover, the island is less crowded in the early part of November and in February, just before and after the peak tourist season, respectively. This means visitors can enjoy a more peaceful atmosphere and avail of lower rates on accommodation and travel. It is important to note that some resorts close during the off-peak season (April to October), so planning your visit during the highlighted months ensures a broad selection of places to stay, as well as better ferry schedules and transportation options to and from the island.
