Best Time To Visit Sao Beach (Bai Sao) (Phu Quoc) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Sao Beach, Phu Quoc

The most ideal period to visit Sao Beach (Bai Sao) in Phu Quoc Island is during the dry season, which spans from November to April. During these months, the weather is predominantly sunny with clear blue skies, offering perfect conditions for beach activities and sunbathing. The temperature ranges comfortably between 25°C and 28°C, and the sea remains calm with excellent visibility, inviting for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors should note that this is also the peak tourist season, so planning ahead for accommodations and activities is advised to ensure availability.

Conversely, the rainy season from May to October is less recommended due to frequent downpours and the possibility of rough seas, which can limit water-based activities and beach enjoyment. However, for travelers looking for solitude and lush green landscapes, the rainy season might offer a unique experience, with fewer tourists and the opportunity to witness the island's tropical beauty in full bloom. It's advisable to check the weather forecasts regularly if traveling during this period and to remain flexible with plans to accommodate potential rain showers.
