Sarawak Cultural Village, commonly known as the 'Living Museum,' is a unique showcase located at the foothills of the legendary Mount Santubong in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. This cultural village was established to preserve and display Sarawak's various cultural heritages. Set across 17 acres, it features seven authentic traditional buildings, each representing a major ethnic community in Sarawak, including the Bidayuh, Iban, Orang Ulu, Penan, Melanau, Malay, and Chinese. Visitors to the village can explore these buildings and get a deep insight into the local customs, crafts, traditional attire, and lifestyles of the indigenous people. Each house is staffodied by members of the ethnic groups in traditional attire who perform tasks traditional to their culture such as weaving, beadwork, and bamboo carving.
