Food History of Shahgoli Pavilion, Tabriz, Iran

The Shahgoli Pavilion, also known as El Goli, is a historical and cultural landmark located in Tabriz, Iran. It is a place where culinary traditions blend seamlessly with the region's rich history. Tabriz, being a major city on the historic Silk Road, has been influenced by diverse food cultures brought by traders and travelers from different parts of the world. Due to the city's cold climate, the local dishes often seek to provide warmth and energy.
