Best Time To Visit Sitakunda Eco Park (Chittagong) In 2026 - 2027

Visit Sitakunda Eco Park

The perfect time to visit Sitakunda Eco Park in Chittagong, Bangladesh, is between November and February. During these months, the weather is pleasantly cool and comfortable for outdoor activities. Tourists can enjoy the serene natural environment without the interference of the heavy monsoon rains typical of the region or the extreme heat that occurs during the pre-monsoon season. This period is marked by lower humidity levels, making it ideal for hiking to the park's famed Chandranath Hill and exploring the biodiversity hotspot's unique flora and fauna.

Besides the comfortable weather, these months coincide with the peak tourist season, providing visitors with more opportunities to engage in local cultural events and activities that may not be available during the off-peak months. However, visitors should be mindful that weekends and national holidays can attract larger crowds, so planning a visit on a weekday could result in a more tranquil experience. The park's verdant landscapes and waterfalls, such as the Kumari Falls, are particularly refreshing during this period, offering a respite from the busy city life of Chittagong.
