Srijani Shilpagram Tourism

Srijani Shilpagram is located near Shantiniketan in West Bengal, India, and is one of the eleven Shilpagrams established by the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre. It is an ethnographic museum that spreads across 15 acres of land designed to promote and showcase the art, craft, and cultural heritage of Eastern India's tribal communities. The site consists of replicated tribal huts, open-air display areas, workshops, and a central amphitheater. Shilpagram aims to foster exchange and collaboration between rural artisans and urban artists, reviving interest in traditional crafts. The design and architecture of the complex are consistent with the rural aesthetic of the region and it is a place where visitors can observe and engage with craftsmen at work, purchase traditional artworks, and experience the vibrancy of Eastern India's cultural diversity. Festivals and workshops are regular occurrences, offering an immersive experience into the regional art and culture.
