Tagore's Ashrama Tourism

Rabindranath Tagore founded the Ashrama in Shantiniketan, which translates to 'Abode of Peace', as a place for meditative seclusion amidst nature. This educational retreat was established in 1901 by Tagore, who envisioned an alternative approach to education that diverged from the rigid methods prevalent at the time.
